Join your fellow IFMA Delaware members on May 6th from 9:15 am – 12:00 pm for A Day of Service at Humane Animal Partners.

Humane Animal Partners’ mission is to connect people with animals, build strong relationships to better the community, and prevent cruelty to animals. These pillars are brought to life through programs that provide shelter and adoption for unwanted and homeless pets, reduce pet overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter, and enable pet retention by providing low-cost veterinary services, free community pet food pantries, and more.

What better way to build strong relationships to better the community than volunteering your time!

Activities may include:

Cleaning assistance of kennels and cattery
Stocking of pet food pantry
Dog walking
And more! (if you’re lucky, you may be able to sneak in a cuddle or two)

We will meet at their Wilmington location.

Hologic is a cutting-edge medical technology company whose purpose is to enable healthier lives everywhere, every day. Its Newark facility builds 3D mammography machines and works in the development of other groundbreaking products and services that benefit everyone. Clean rooms build the 3D graphic imaging and Hologic’s manufacturing lines build 6 different models of mammography devices.

While focusing on woman’s health and well-being, Hologic is committed to having a broader benefit on the world, and we get to view a little bit of this pioneering spirit! Our host will be Paul Freebery, who has been the FM onsite for 3 years. He assisted with the 40-million dollar conversion of the Newark facility to state of the art status, making the Innovation Center for Hologic a must-see for us!

There is ample parking in the lot in front of the building. We will meet in the company café just inside the front door.
