Mary Anne Conine has been an active member of the board since 1994. She served as Chapter Secretary for two terms. She has traveled to numerous World Workplaces and attended the IFMA Northeast Regional Conference held in Toronto. Her experience includes 18 years with The PNC Financial Services Group where she was a Senior Property Administrator. Currently, Mary Anne is a Vice President of Corporate Services at BlackRock. She is responsible for construction projects, space planning, cafe, security, hospitality, mailroom and reprographics. Mary Anne recently attended the 2007 IFMA Chapter Leaders Conference and joined the New Castle County Green Development Work Group.

VICE PRESIDENT

Kate Rumberger

Mary Anne Conine, President of the Delaware Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), has announced that Kate Rumberger has accepted the position of Vice President of the organization.

Ms. Rumberger recently returned to Delaware after an absence of eleven years. Those eleven years were spent with the Charles E. Smith Companies, first managing the Eastwick Operations Center for PNC Bank for seven years then The University City Science Center for four years. While in the Philadelphia area, Ms. Rumberger was President of the Philadelphia Building Managers and Operators Association for two years. She remained on the Board until 2007.

Currently employed by CB Richard Ellis as Senior Real Estate Manager, Ms Rumberger manages three buildings at the Bellevue Corporate Center in Wilmington DE.

TREASURER

Michael Downs

Michael Downs has worked in the facilities maintenance field for over 27 years. His experience includes 32 years with DuPont, where he was a contract administrator and 3 years with the University of Delaware, where he was the maintenance manager for student housing. Currently he is Superintendent of Properties and Services at Hagley Museum and Library. At Hagley, he is responsible for maintenance of both the 60+ buildings and 250 acres of grounds. Recently he has provided project management for renovations to Hagley's Visitor Center, as well as premier conditioned archival storage space renovations made to Hagley's Hall of Records. He has completed the APPA Institute for Facilities Management as well as their Professional Leadership Academy. Michael has been active in IFMA for several years, as well as IAMFA.

Helene Price

Helene Price

Helene Price has been an active member of the Delaware Chapter of IFMA since 2003 when she joined and immediately became involved on the Program Committee. After a year, she was asked to head the Program Committee where she has served for the past three seasons. Helene is the Architectural Products Manager for Koroseal Interior Products Group, a division of RJF International, a wall solutions company where she manages a team of nine architectural and design representatives who cover Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia.

Harriet McGraw has been a member of IFMA Delaware since 2001 and has served on the Programming Committee for the past four years. In addition, Harriet has served on the Delaware Chapter Board as Vice President, then President for the past two years. She has attended IFMA's world workplace and the NFM&T conference in Baltimore. Harriet started out as Office Manager of BlackRock's Philadelphia location in 1997, where she managed space planning and vendor relationships. Upon completion of BlackRock's building in the Bellevue Corporate Center and closure of the Philadelphia site in early 2001, Harriet joined the Corporate Services department at BlackRock and is now a Director. Recently, Harriet was appointed Regional Satellite Manager for six BlackRock locations, where she is responsible for space planning, projects, and the general Corporate Services function. Harriet believes that the difference between good and great in a Facilities role is the ability to listen, understand and balance the needs of both the employees and the corporate culture.
